Primary objective of the study was to understand the regulatory barriers in launching, operationalizing, pilot-testing and up-scaling of innovative financing products. This study focused on providing practical and effective policy options to the regulators for mitigating challenges, hindering the up-scaling of innovative financing products and delivery channels.
Business Finance for the Poor in Bangladesh (BFP-B)
BFP-B is a £25 million programme funded by DFID from the UK government. Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance, Government of Bangladesh is the executing agency and Bangladesh Bank and Microcredit Regulatory Authority are the implementing agencies. Nathan Associates London Ltd. is the management agency for the programme.
